A collective experience of cinema and dance with family or friends, via zoom, which invites us to expand through a selection of short films selected by Bestias Danzantes Dance Film Festival and a session of Baila como Quieras by the Gamera collective.

This Friday, July 16 at 6:00 p.m., Teatro del Lago invites you to live an experience via zoom, of expansion and freedom through cinema and dance. We will begin by enjoying together a selection of international contemporary dance short films made by Bestias Danzantes Dance Film Festival, specially chosen for Teatro del Lago, designed for audiences of all ages.

“We proposed a journey through five dance short films from Austria, Canada, Spain and Finland, which transport us from the city to the forests and the green, calling us to expand, to unfold our mind and our bodies beyond the screens and isolation through a sensitive route that allows us to meet, connect and experiment together ”, says Mayo Rodríguez, artistic director of Bestias Danzantes Festival de Cine de Danza.

Attendees will continue this journey with a Dance As You Want session with the Gamera Collective, where you can move your body freely to the rhythm of the music on a guided tour by DJ Maxicat. An invitation to experience dance as a family, with your friends, or with you, on Friday afternoon. A dance party for people of all ages during the winter holidays.

The invitation is to build your own dance floor at home, bring your lights, plants, inanimate animals (dinosaurs, rabbits, squirrels, cougars or birds), pets, cushions, spaceship, hats, cape or special clothing for us to travel together through the screens! Then the chat and microphones will open to share with all attendees.
