On May 11, the Ensemble Teatro del Lago debuts at Teatro Regional del Bío-Bío with the concert “Noche en Viena”. This is part of the celebration of the 60 years of the Chilean Chilean Institute of Culture of Concepción (Goethe Zentrum), and invites you to enjoy a varied repertoire of waltzes by composers such as Mozart, Brahms and Straus son.

This Saturday, May 11, at 8:00 pm the Ensemble Teatro del Lago will debut at the Teatro Regional del Bío-Bío with “Noche en Viena”, to start the celebrations of the 60 years of experience of the Chilean Chilean Institute of Culture of Conception. This concert invites the audience to enjoy a varied repertoire of waltzes by composers such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johannes Brahms and Johann Strauss (son).

Thanks to the interest of the great composers for this genre, the waltz became a musical style very acclaimed by the public and in this opportunity, the chamber group belonging to Teatro del Lago, will honor this composition in this concert which also Two musicians will be invited, the bassist Mathias Méndez and the violinist Camila Pérez.

Ensemble Teatro del Lago is a chamber music ensemble formed by Chilean musicians Nicolás Faunes (flute) and Pablo Silva (cello) and Spanish musicians Sara Marigómez (viola), Cristina Naranjo (piano) and Luis Damián Ortiz (violin) . From the beginning, Teatro del Lago wanted to have professional musicians of a high artistic and pedagogical level who transmitted their knowledge and experience to the students of their School of Arts and to the entire community. That is why the group develops an outstanding work of musical diffusion, making numerous presentations inside and outside Teatro del Lago and in extension and educational activities. Also, the group is an important part of the Artistic and Educational Season of Teatro del Lago, in which they annually present a wide repertoire of concerts with national and international artists, printing a valuable seal of quality and link with the community.
