The seminar by Enrique Arturo Diemecke, is aimed at experienced musical directors, resident in Argentina or abroad, with an age limit of 38 years. Registration will be open until Monday, October 7.

 

The Higher Institute of Art of the Teatro Colón, under the direction of Marcelo Birman, will hold from Saturday 26 to Thursday 31 October the second Seminar of Orchestral Direction of Symphonic Repertoire, by Enrique Arturo Diemecke, current Artistic General Director and of Production of Teatro Colón and Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Buenos Aires.

The objective of this seminar is to acquire new knowledge and experience on the practice of orchestral conducting, focused on the symphonic repertoire. Work will be done on the analytical part of the scores and in practice with the Academic Orchestra of the Higher Institute of Art of Teatro Colón. In addition, a closing concert will be held with this symphonic group in the Main Theater Hall on Thursday, October 31 at 5:00 p.m.

It is aimed at experienced musical directors, resident in the country or abroad, with an age limit of 38 years. A jury of specialists, chaired by Maestro Diemecke, will select a group of 6 active participants, of which they will be chosen during the course to lead in the closing concert. Listeners will also be admitted to classes.

The Seminar will be free and will be held at the Headquarters of the Superior Institute of Art of the Colón Theater (Av. Corrientes 1681) and the itself Teatro Colón.
