Considering the relevance that co-productions between the different institutions belonging to OLA have been having in recent years, including the agreements between Latin America and the recently incorporated Spanish representatives, it was decided to dedicate an annual session specifically to address this aspect.

In addition to the main objective, which is to analyze the different possibilities of co-productions, this assembly will contemplate other activities of importance for the organization, such as the proposal of statutes to conform the legal personality of OLA, a long-term desire that was agreed as a proposal at the last meeting in Mexico City, in May of last year. Likewise, the progress made by the administration during the second half of 2016 will be addressed, such as the new website with intranet for members and which has a Spanish and English version. A report of the theater study will be made, based on the surveys that were conducted during the second half of 2016. Finally, the incorporation of new members will also be discussed, and important alliances that have been established in the last one will be reported. time, with the Royal Opera House and with Opera America.
