This week the Gran Teatre del Liceu makes available to the public the preferential and general sale tickets for the shows Don Giovanni by Mozart, Savall and Don Juan by Gluck and From Carmen Amaya to Estrella Morente. The new sales calendar is due to the relocation of seats of the subscribers that the Teatre has had to carry out to comply with the regulations set by the Procicat, guaranteeing the allowed capacity and the safety distances. Thus, starting next Friday, October 9 at 10 a.m., the preferential sale will open for subscribers with a 20% discount and starting on Tuesday, October 13 at 10 a.m. the general sale will open to purchase the nearly 2,000 tickets available of the three shows mentioned above.
The Liceu, a safe space
The impressive start to the season with the voices of Sondra Radvanovsky and Piotr Beczala and with the baton of Gustavo Dudamel conducting Il trovatore showed that opera houses are undoubtedly safe and necessary spaces. However, the Gran Teatre del Liceu does not lower its guard and continues to work to maintain and guarantee this security with a new capacity plan. As a result of the latest updates established by the Procicat in terms of occupation in the performing arts, the Liceu decides to modify its location plan from Don Giovanni and stabilizes its maximum capacity at 50% with alternate and always individual seats, guaranteeing not only compliance with the measures, but also the constant feeling of security on the part of the viewer. For the Liceu it is important to be able to stabilize its capacity and to continue the season with a safe and prudent process in order to enjoy a #SafeCulture.
