Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra, ballet Swan lake and a lyrical recital by the tenor Juan Diego Flórez, will be the three new proposals that can be enjoyed by this new digital program created by the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires.

PERMANENT PROGRAMMING

The 13th subscription concert 2019 of Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra will be seen, under the musical direction of the maestro Enrique Arturo Diemecke and with the pianist Lilya Zilberstein as a guest soloist. The music program is composed of Rhapsody on a theme by Sergei Rachmaninov’s Paganini and Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No. 9 in D minor.

 

Swan Lake, the classic ballet by Piotr Ilich Tchaikovski that was performed by the Stable Ballet of Teatro Colón directed by Paloma Herrera during the 2017 Season. This work in two acts he has the choreographic version of Mario Galizzi based on the originals by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov and musical direction by the teacher Darío Domínguez Xodo at the head of the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra.

 

Enjoy the lyrical recital starring Juan Diego Flórez, one of the most recognized tenors worldwide and who passed through the stage of our first coliseum during the Season 2018 to sing some of the most celebrated works by Mozart, Donizetti, Verdi, Massenet, Puccini and Gounod, in the company of the pianist Vincenzo Scalera.

In commemoration of the 112 years of Teatro Colón, enjoy Aida by Verdi, presented in the 2019 Season. Under the baton of maestro Carlos Vieu, the stable Orchestra, Ballet and Choir accompany Latonia Moore, Riccardo Massi and a great cast.

 

With all the glamor of the Paris Belle Époque, the Ballet Estable del Teatro Colón presents The Merry Widow, in the function that means the farewell of one of the notable artists of the house, the primer bailarín Alejandro Parente. Directed by Paloma Herrera and with choreography by Ronald Hynd. The baton of the conductor Manuel Coves, the Orchestra Estable del Teatro Colón accompanies the Ballet with music by Franz Lehár.

 

Concert of the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of , Enrique Arturo Diemecke, along with the mezzo-soprano Adriana Mastrángelo, the Stable Choir and the Children’s Choir of the Teatro Colón. The program is made up of Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 in D minor, performed at the performance on April 25, 2019 in the Main Hall.

Love, desire, youth and death are the ingredients originally coined by William Shakespeare evoking the tension of an impossible love that next Sunday June 28 at 8:00 p.m. will be able to be revived in the farewell performance of the great dancer Iñaki Urlezaga with the dancer of the Royal Ballet of London Lauren Cuthbertson and the entire company of the Stable Ballet of the Teatro Colón directed by Paloma Herrera.

It will be the transmission of the concert held on July 27, 2019 in the Main Room.

 

La Traviata, presented in the 2017 Season. Under the baton of maestro Evelino Pidò and with stage direction and set design by the great Franco Zeffirelli, the stable Orchestra and Choir They accompany Ermonela Jaho, Saimir Pirgu, Fabián Veloz and a great cast.

 

Concert of the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra, with the participation of the pianist Homero Francesch, as a soloist and under the baton of Enrique Arturo Diemecke. They make up the program Piano Concerto No. 1, Op. 15, in D minor by Johannes Brahms, Death and Transfiguration, Op. 24 and the Suite “The Knight of the Rose”, Op. 59 by Richard Strauss. It will be the broadcast of the concert held on March 22, 2018 in the Main Room.
