Abstract: The Teatro Regional Lucho Gatica is a cultural space that is installed in the capital of O’Higgins to constitute a pole of integral attraction for the community where the artistic and sociocultural actions of excellence, emanated from the local, regional, national and international creators, contribute to enrich the cultural heritage. With its structure and state-of-the-art equipment it allows, jointly, to offer foreign cultural artistic proposals of international level. The Teatro Regional Lucho Gatica must be a leading cultural space of reference for the region and the country, housing in its spaces the production and creation of local artists and artists, promoting the arts and artistic-cultural expressions of quality, giving It accommodates the growing cultural diversity, guaranteeing, at the same time, the equity of the access of all citizens to culture. The TLG has to establish permanent and deep relationships with the diverse cultural spaces that the region of O’Higgins as a whole. The TLG has to contribute in the constitution and consolidation of a proactive national theatrical network that promotes artistic promotion and diffusion, aspiring to create a national theatrical tradition.
